Cardston Elementary School - Westwind School Division

Discipline

CJHS operates on the philosophy that all students have the right to learn. To do so, each student must be in a school climate that is satisfying and productive, without the disruptive behavior of any student infringing upon the rights of others.

Students must understand that they are responsible for their good behavior. They must recognize that any behavior that disrupts, distracts or encroaches upon the rights of others education is unacceptable.

CJHS students need to understand and support the following expectations:

1. Consideration, courtesy and respect to others and their property.

2. To walk in an orderly, quiet and safe manner during all school related activities.

3. We expect students to not use profane language, inappropriate gestures or the spreading of gossip.

4. No smoking on or in the immediate vicinity of the school’s property.
