The above photo is a real image taken by a satellite probe called Cassini, which is orbiting Saturn and studying its moons and rings. The Sun has been eclipsed by Saturn causing the cool glow, but what fascinates me most about this image is that you can see Earth cradled within the rings of Saturn.

In Grade 9 Science we have five units of study.

      Science Exploration

      Science Exploration is an exciting, hands on, experience oriented option class. The main purpose of the class is to increase student interest in science through hands on learning. Students help decide which projects the class takes on, and we have a lot of fun figuring out our world in a scientific way.
